An Automatic Hand Dryer Can Help You Stay Germ Free

We all know that we should wash our hands regularly to stay safe, especially after going to the restroom, but do you know just how important hand drying is? If you neglect to use efficient hand dryers to properly and thoroughly dry your hands after washing, you could spread more germs than you realise.

So, putting efficient dryers in your facility's restrooms is essential. But some may still wonder, are air dryers the way to go? Keep reading to learn about why hand drying is important and how an automatic dryer can work wonders for your staff and guests.

Is Drying Your Hands Really That Important?

First, some may wonder if fully drying your hands is that important. As long as you use a good amount of soap and wash for twenty seconds, you'll be good to go, right?

Using hand dryers is very important because wet hands spread more germs than dry hands. Leaving your hands wet, damp or moist can encourage germs to grow and spread as you go about your day. So, completely drying your hands after every wash is crucial.

You should also remember to only use suitable drying methods. Avoid wiping your hands on your clothes because that could spread germs even more.

Are Dryers Hygienic?

Now that you know how important hand drying is, it's time to find a good drying method that fits your facility. You know that quick automatic hand dryers are incredibly convenient, but are they a good hygienic option?

The answer is yes; they are a fantastic choice for any restroom that needs a quick and effective hand drying solution.

The qualities that make automatic dryers a great option are:

They're No-Touch. Automatic dryers are favourable because you don't need to press any buttons - or touch the machine at all - to get it to work. Simply activate the sensor and let your hands dry.

A big problem with staying germ-free in public spaces is that everyone touches everything - when you touch something like a countertop or a door knob, you're touching something that potentially dozens of other people have touched. As you can imagine, this could mean you're touching all kinds of different germs.

But, with automatic hand dryers, you don't have to touch a thing. This can drastically reduce the spread of germs from the dryer to your hands and vice versa.

They Use Filtered Air To Prevent The Spread Of Germs. Instead of simply using regular air to dry your hands, dryers use filters to filter out germs from the air they blow. So, you can have peace of mind knowing that you are drying your hands with clean, germ-free air.

If you use paper towels or another unfiltered way to dry your hands, you could be wiping even more germs onto yourself.

They Make Thorough Drying Easy. When you dry your hands using a towel, you could very well be missing spots on your hands. Most people don't dry every part of their hand when they use a towel because it can be a hassle to reach everywhere.

However, with the power of air jets, water can be efficiently removed from your hands. All you have to do is put your hands in the path of the air for the recommended amount of time and let the air do its work.

Are There Any Other Reasons Why I Should Choose High-Quality Hand Dryers?

Good hygiene isn't the only reason why you should choose excellent dryers. These other wonderful benefits are also very helpful:

They Don't Create Much Waste. A major problem with paper towel dispensers is that used paper towels don't always make it to the rubbish bin. Careless and messy guests might leave their used paper towels on the floor or around the sink, making your restrooms appear dirty.

You won't have to worry about this kind of mess when you use automatic dryers because they don't create this kind of unsightly waste.

They're Better For The Environment. Less waste and efficient energy usage mean that dryers are a great choice if you care about your environmental impact.

High-Quality Models Are Resistant To Damage And Tampering. Top-tier dryers are resistant to regular damage and harmful tampering, meaning they'll last for a long time and be easier to take care of.

So, remember:

• Proper hand drying is crucial to reducing the spread of germs.
• Automatic hand dryers are a fantastic choice to help your guests stay healthy.
• Dryers don't produce much waste, are a good environmentally friendly option and higher-quality models are damage resistant.
